Hamburg in Russia - Russia in Hamburg
Hamburg presents itself as a green economic metropolis with its maritime charm and innovative mobility and logistics concepts in Moscow. As “smart cities” Moscow and St. Petersburg as well as the “smartest city in Germany” HAMBURG are very innovative and progressive in their plans and ongoing projects. Strategic concepts up to 2030 form the basis for the development of the two Russian metropolises. The global market for smart city solutions is expected to reach US $ 3 trillion by 2025, exceeding the volume of all traditional economic sectors. The exchange in this very dynamic economic area opens up enormous economic potential for both sides, in particular with digitization, new energy sources (hydrogen) and the creation of innovative transport systems (smart mobility) and logistics solutions in large cities (smart logistics). The event will combine the topics of Smart City / Green City / Smart Mobility / Smart Logistics with the international joint campaign launched this year by the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg "2 cities - 1 million impressions". As a result, the event would not only focus on Moscow, but also on the twin city of St. Petersburg, which was and is always desirable for Hamburg.
